About A. Selena Barr

A. Selena Barr is a native Houstonian and fourth generation Texan with a background in working with Real Estate investors, property management and helping people seek that happy and healthy lifestyle they are looking for in their community. She thrives on focusing on her clients wants, needs and just-can't-live-with-outs by simply observing the many ways homeowners make a house their home.

Previous experiences working with local investors has given Selena a competitive edge in learning exactly what it is her clients are looking for in their community. This experience helped her develop valuable negotiating and marketing skills that she still employs as a principal of a real estate in her business today.

Her love for real estate stems from a lifelong interest in helping people. She found that by helping people in need was satisfying, but helping a family to find a place to call home has truly been a rewarding and gratifying experience. Selena has volunteered at several events in her community such as representing and working the polls during election time and working with the Big Brother, Big Sister Program. Her ability to connect with her community has been a top priority of hers over the years. 

Growing up in Houston has made this a place where she calls home. She continues to give back to her local community by volunteering her time to charitable organizations such as the American Cancer Society, Houston Food Bank, SPCA  and supporting or volunteering with any other needed special event like the most recent Covid-19 Relief Program to assist her neighbors with their specific needs or any other orginization that she may be invited to participate in throughout the year!

When she isn't working hard for her client's, she enjoys scouting & exploring around the area through the Heights bike trails, getting caught up in a great book, swimming, or just relaxing on one of Galveston's quiet beaches soaking up the sun and salty air. She's a natural socialite and conversationalist and loves when people ask her what she does for a living. She thrives on showing her client's around Houston and offering her advice and opinion to the ones that have just recently relocated to the area from another city or country.
